01
The story setup
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos believe that sticking together is their best chance after an easy score goes wrong. Their partnership ties the intimate scale of a relationship to a broad criminal conspiracy across Leonida.
The Bonnie-and-Clyde comparison is useful shorthand, but Rockstar's character material adds family, prison, military-adjacent history, smuggling contacts, music businesses, and professional robbery crews.

02
Core play visible so far
Official footage shows driving, motorcycles, boats, aircraft, store robbery, weapons, police response, parties, gyms, fishing, nightlife, and movement across cities and rural environments. It also repeatedly cuts between Jason and Lucia.
What it does not provide is a full HUD-driven gameplay demonstration. Skill trees, inventory rules, wanted-system changes, character switching, and mission freedom should remain open questions.
- Dual-protagonist story
- Robberies from small scores to larger jobs
- Urban, coastal, wetland and mountain traversal
- Businesses and music-industry connections
- Social-video satire embedded in the setting
03
Why Leonida changes the formula
A state-sized setting gives missions room to move between dense Vice City blocks, island causeways, swamps, gulf towns, industry, and northern trails. Boats and off-road vehicles can become everyday tools rather than side activities.
The supporting cast also anchors distinct networks: smugglers, bank robbers, record-label operators, performers, and paranoid watchers. Those relationships may structure how jobs arrive.
