Why every current GTA VI mod download is suspect
A real mod modifies an available game. With no shipped GTA6 PC version, current 'GTA VI mods' are usually GTA V conversions, concept videos, reshades, fan models, or unsafe files using the new game's name.
That does not make the creative work worthless, but it should be labeled for the game it actually runs on. Never install a package that claims to patch a nonexistent GTA VI directory.

02
Likely mod categories
If a PC edition arrives and the community gains stable tools, early work will probably focus on quality-of-life fixes, camera changes, reshades, vehicles, character models, scripts, and map exploration. Large total conversions take much longer because they require mature formats and tooling.
- Visual presets and photo tools
- Vehicle and handling changes
- Character and clothing replacements
- Single-player scripts
- Accessibility and interface tweaks
- Map additions after tools mature

Keep mods out of online play
Single-player modification and multiplayer cheating are not the same thing. Files that inject code, alter memory, or change network behavior can violate terms and risk account action. Use separate clean installations or profiles if the eventual ecosystem supports them.
Back up saves, read change logs, scan archives, and download from established communities with visible moderation. Avoid link shorteners and password-protected executables.

04
The legal and technical boundaries
Mod creators should avoid redistributing full game assets, paid content, keys, or tools designed to bypass access controls. A sustainable scene depends on respecting intellectual property and keeping experimentation in single player.
